Corbin Foster

Corbin Ray Foster (born March 23, 1981) is an American bassist, sound engineer, video editor, and graphic designer.

Corbin Foster was born in Bellevue, WA and raised in North Bend, WA. Foster’s beginnings in music started at age seven with classical piano lessons. He then started lessons on the clarinet, bass clarinet, contra-alto clarinet, classical guitar, tuba, electric bass, percussion, and double bass.

Foster attended Fullerton College, where he earned an A.A. degree in music. He studied double bass under Luther Hughes and Roger Shew. He then attended Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach, where he earned a B.M. degree in composition, cum laude. He studied double bass under Paul Zibits. He studied composition with Robin Cox, Carolyn Bremer, and Alan Shockley.

Musical career
His compositions/arrangements have been performed by the Robin Cox Ensemble, Eclipse Quartet, Psychic Temple (Chris Schlarb), Redlands Community Orchestra, and Southland Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with Long Beach Symphony, Redlands Community Orchestra, Southland Symphony Orchestra, Moreno Valley Wind Symphony, and Chris Schlarb.
